IDOM is a multi-national corporation that offers consulting, engineering, and architecture services in Spain and other countries around the world.

Since 1957, IDOM has slowly grown into a group that works in many different areas. More than 3,000 people work there, spread across 34 offices in 17 countries on five continents. They have helped over 12,000 clients and completed 30,000 projects in 123 countries.

History

IDOM (from the Spanish: Ingeniería y Dirección de Obras y Montaje) was started in 1957 by Rafael Escolá (1919-1995). Another young engineer, Luis Olaortúa (1932-2003), helped him found the company.
