Victor Vran is an action role-playing video game created by the Bulgarian independent developer Haemimont Games. It was published on Steam by EuroVideo Medien. The game takes place in a Gothic fantasy world where both magic and science are important. The original version was released on July 24, 2015. An updated version called Victor Vran: Overkill Edition was released for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on June 6, 2017. A version for Nintendo Switch was released on August 28, 2018. A version of the original game became available on Amazon Luna on October 20, 2020.
Setting
The player takes on the role of Victor Vran, a demon hunter who arrives in the imaginary city of Zagoravia to help the people there fight against a large number of demons. No one knows where these demons came from.
Gameplay
The game's combat includes action role-playing game features and moves that require quick reactions. Players can dodge attacks to avoid damage. The jumping ability is used during battles and to solve puzzles that require climbing or reaching hidden areas.
The main character, Victor Vran, does not have a specific class. Players can customize their character by choosing different weapon types, using items like potions or bombs, and selecting spell-like powers from demons. Destiny cards and special clothing provide abilities that are always active. Each weapon type has one basic attack and two special attacks that can be combined for extra effects.
The game world is divided into large areas that represent the city of Zagoravia and nearby dungeons. Each area has five challenges that give rewards when completed. Players can change the difficulty of each area or dungeon by using special items called Hex items, which make enemies stronger and give them extra benefits.
The game also allows players to team up with others in cooperative multiplayer mode.

Victor Vran received mostly positive feedback from critics when it was released. The website Metacritic, which collects reviews, gave it a score of 75 out of 100 based on 42 reviews for the Windows version. For the Xbox One version, it received a score of 77 out of 100 based on 4 reviews.
