Shin'en Multimedia is a German company that makes video games on its own. It is located in Munich and was started in 1999 by people who were part of a group called Abyss. The company creates games mainly for the Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch. It also makes games for other systems, such as the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, and previously for the Wii U, Wii, Nintendo 3DS, Nintendo DS, Game Boy Advance, and Game Boy Color. Their most well-known games are the Fast series, which began with Fast RMX and were released as new games for Nintendo consoles.

In addition to making games, Shin'en created the music for about 200 video games made by other companies. They also developed the GHX, GAX, DSX, and NAX (which is similar to GAX) handheld audio tools.

The company's name comes from the Japanese word 深淵 (shin'en), which means "abyss," as a reference to their original name.

Also, Shin'en has created the sound for hundreds of games on Game Boy Color, Game Boy Advance, Nintendo DS, WiiWare, and Nokia N-Gage as a company that helps other companies make game audio. They used their special tools designed for making game sounds.
