Clint Bajakian was born in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania. He became interested in music at the age of eight. During middle school, he played in marching bands and performed in rock bands from 1977 to 1984.

Clint Bajakian was born in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania. He became interested in music at the age of eight. During middle school, he played in marching bands and performed in rock bands from 1977 to 1984. He studied music at the New England Conservatory and earned two Bachelor of Arts degrees in Classic Guitar Performance. Later, he attended the University of Michigan, where he received a Master of Music degree in Music Composition.

After completing his studies, Bajakian joined LucasArts because of a friend, Michael Land, who was also a rock band musician. He worked at LucasArts from 1991 until May 2000. During this time, he helped create music for several well-known LucasArts games. He became famous for his work with Michael Land and Peter McConnell, other main composers at LucasArts. His score for the 1997 western video game Outlaws was influenced by the music of Ennio Morricone and won a Special Achievement award from Computer Gaming Magazine. After leaving LucasArts, Bajakian started his own sound production company, C.B. Studios. The company later changed its name to The Sound Department and then to Bay Area Sound. Recently, he has worked with other game publishers and composed the music for a short film called The Upgrade. In 2004, he joined Sony Computer Entertainment and led the music production team as Senior Music Manager until 2013. In October 2013, he became Vice President of Development and Composer at Pyramind Studios, where he created original music for World of Warcraft: Warlords of Draenor and other projects.

Clint Bajakian was the first vice president and co-founder of the Game Audio Network Guild. He is also a member of the Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences. In 2013, he received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Game Audio Network Guild. In 2012, he was honored with the Outstanding Alumni Award from The New England Conservatory.
