Esports Championship Series

In April 2016, FACEIT introduced a Counter-Strike: Global Offensive tournament called the Esports Championship Series (ECS). In April 2017, FACEIT formed a partnership with YouTube to support the tournament. At that time, ECS was one of the two main Counter-Strike leagues, along with ESL Pro League.

The ECS tournament ended in 2020 and was replaced by a new league named Flashpoint. This new league includes 12 teams and requires a total investment of $2,100,000. Teams in Flashpoint can own part of the league and share income from it.

In May 2022, FACEIT signed a major agreement with a cryptocurrency platform called Cake DeFi. Under this agreement, players who compete in FACEIT games and tournaments can earn cryptocurrency rewards. The plan is to give over $500,000 in cryptocurrency to FACEIT users.

The event started in mid-September and ended on September 23, 2018. This was the first Major hosted by FACEIT and the first Major held in the United Kingdom. The competition had a prize pool of $1,000,000, and the final competition stage took place at Wembley Arena. In the finals, the team Astralis beat the team Natus Vincere to win its second Major title.
